The Rugby League XIII Sports Association (Thailand) and Zoo Sport are proud to announce a new two-year apparel partnership through to the end of the 2018 season. Zoo Sport will provide on and off-field apparel for all teams in the national competition commencing in January 2017.
This follows a recent announcement of a 25-man train-on squad for their upcoming internationals in Sydney. The Thailand national side will tour Sydney next February, taking part in the International Nines at Cabramatta as well playing Internationals against El Salvador and Hungary in Zoo Sport apparel.
Zoo Sport Commercial Director, Adam Goldberg said.
“The partnership is key for the emerging Rugby League program in Thailand and with the recent growth the sport has seen, we are delighted to partner with the national body.”
The Sports Authority of Thailand recently approved the Rugby League XIII Sports Association as the registered body to conduct and control the game of Rugby League in the Kingdom of Thailand.
The Jersey features the national animal of Thailand, the elephant, in an intricate 3-headed design on the front blue panel with the traditional red and white colouring of the sleeves and shoulders.
CEO of RLXII, Peter Thompson said.
"We are very proud to join forces with a brand like Zoo Sport. This will be Thailand’s first international series since being accredited as the first Asian team with full government recognition and accreditation from the RLIF.”

The national side will also be taking part in the Emerging Nations Rugby League World Cup in November 2017.
